With an Italian mother and Greek-Cypriot father, I grew up with an appreciation and love for good food.
With over 25 years of experience in cooking, and having owned and ran eight deli's, cafés, restaurants and a food trailer, I continued to pursue my love of cooking with my connection to the great outdoors.
Along with competing internationally in archery, volunteering as a Fish & Game ranger and running an Alpine lodge;
I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to host my own TV series The Game Chef and Angelo's Outdoor Kitchen with accompanying cookbooks.
I have a deep respect and connection for the land and its bounty we feast on. I pride myself in utilising the whole animal and only killing wild game I am happy to eat, taking only what I need. I want to share this knowledge of protecting and regenerating our beautiful landscapes with the language of good food fashioned by my style of rustic hearty village-style cuisine. For me, there is no better way to celebrate life.
